Insurance FAQs

I am an out-of-network (OON) provider, which means I do not participate on an insurance panel. Many insurance companies, including Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, offer out-of-network (OON) benefits for clinicians like myself who are not directly contracted with them. If your plan includes out-of-network coverage, you can pay the full session fee upfront, and I will provide you with all the necessary paperwork, or Superbills, to submit to your insurance provider.

Once you submit the Superbill, your insurance company will process the claim and send you a reimbursement check for the percentage of the session they cover. I’m happy to assist you in determining if your insurance plan provides OON benefits, but please note that coverage eligibility is ultimately between you and your insurance provider.
